Inaugural Webinar Session #CelebratingEntrepreneurship
To celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship in times of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), SBI Foundation’s Tata Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (CSE) and ALSiSAR Impact inaugurated a 6-week webinar series titled “Celebrating Entrepreneurship in the Times of COVID-19.”
The first session, held on 10th July 2020, focused on Entrepreneurs Working in Unconventional Sectors and saw participation from over 200 attendees globally.

- Dhruv Lakra emphasized inclusivity, empowering people with disabilities, and advocating for financial support for social ventures.
- Insia Dariwala highlighted the need for gender-neutral laws addressing child abuse, and sustaining her nonprofit through for-profit film projects.
- Vikrant Pandey shared how his daughter inspired Fightback, pivoting to online self-defense training during the pandemic.
- Ubair Shah demonstrated the power of collaboration within AgriTech to maintain supply chains during COVID-19 disruptions.
With 289 registrations across 75+ cities globally, the inaugural session successfully kicked off a meaningful dialogue around entrepreneurship in unconventional but critical sectors.
